Cosmopolitan Martini
2 oz. dry gin
1 oz. dry vermouth
Put gin and vermouth in a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake well. Strain and pour into chilled Crescendo martini glass. Garnish with one or more olives.
Manhattan
2 oz. rye or bourbon
1/2 oz. sweet vermouth
1/2 oz. dry vermouth
2 dashes of Angostura or orange bitters
Maraschino cherry for garnish
Combine all but the cherry in a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake well, strain, and pour into chilled Hypnos martini glass. Garnish with maraschino cherry (can use a twist of lemon peel instead if you prefer).
Perfect Vodka Martini
3 oz. vodka
1 oz. dry vermouth
olives for garnish
Combine vodka and vermouth in cocktail shaker half filled with ice. Shake well. Strain and pour into chilled Michelangelo martini glass. Garnish with olives.
